Lapaxe™ portable travel guitars are the perfect solution for guitarists of all levels, looking for a great small guitar. The Deluxe series electric guitar can be carried on to commercial flights, and actually played in an economy seat. The Lap axe EX series short scale travel guitar in standard tuning is also a great live performance instrument. With a choice of mini humbucker, hotrails, single coil pickups, P-90 soap bars Lap axe has a guitar sound for guitarists of all styles. We also offer a variety of exotic woods for the tops, and fretboards on our custom short scale instruments.
All of our models now feature 2 way adjustable truss rods, and carbon graphite support. The result is an extremely durable neck and top quality short scale electric guitar.

Had my EX for about 14 years now, never had a problem with it. Even though it's been my daily practice guitar for all this time, the frets are still excellent, as is the bridge, saddles, electronics... the minihumbuckers are phenomenal, and even though I bought a set of 70's Gibson minis as replacements, I've never felt the need to change them. The materials are excellent, plays and sounds like a dream. Sub-tropical summer heat and humidity do not bother it at all! I usually play SGs live, and I can get my cocobolo EX to sound close enough as to use it as an alternate, and just lower the tone and it has an amazing jazzy smooth sound to it that the SGs just can't do. Love it.
